I am a French national who arrived in the UK 28 years ago and since then, I've never looked back!

I am a qualified tutor who passed a Teaching Certificate to Adults from International House 24 years ago and have been teaching ever since.

I taught Business French in London as a freelance teacher in various banks, tertiary sector companies and law firms. I have a vast experience in teaching adults of every level.

For the last 20 years, I have been living in Tunbridge Wells (much closer to France!). I am self employed and teaching from home.

I believe that the environment you learn in is very important. I am convinced that one needs to have fun to learn - otherwise it can easily become a chore.

I also believe in homework! Even if for some, it might remind them of school... learning a new language is undoubtedly hard work! Whatever we have looked at during the one-to-one lesson you have had that week needs to be reinforced during your own time. Our human nature is as such that we need to see things at least 4 times for them to imprint in our brain. A little bit of French three times a week is far more useful than a two hour sitting down grammar marathon.

Outside of the classroom, I am also a qualified counsellor and have an up to date CRB check.
